We were lucky enough to see Almodovar Del Rio make his debut at Kempton in August. He showed a lot of speed and professionalism for a first run and he is an exciting colt going forwards. The reports from trainer Marco Botti are that he has come on leaps and bounds from the run and now understands his job a little more. He will be targeted at another race in the forthcoming weeks.
We also saw our beloved Vaunted get back to the track after a break. She ran at Salisbury on the 10th September and ran with huge credit to pass horses and finish 4th only a nose from a placing. She seemed to stay well thinking a step up in trip to a mile might suit. The syndicate had a great day and it has lit the fire for the remainder of the season.
