Australia ex Dubrava

We were delighted to secure this scopey son of Australia at the Tattersalls Yearling October Book 3 sale. He is out of Dansili mare Dubrava, and she is a winner and talented performer. The cross has been tried 23 times, resulting in 60% runners to winners and 5 black-type horses. This includes G1 and classic winner (now stallion) Galileo Chrome. This colt is from the family of Rose Diamond, who was incredibly consistent in group races from 7/1m1f, and we expect him to be similar.

This son of Australia is very loose-moving and correct. He will be broken in and sent away for a holiday before commencing full training in the new year. We will target summer maidens and novices, and he is the perfect horse to trade on for profit if he shows enough ability with large interests from Hong Kong and Australia.

We purchased him from good breeders Aston Mullins Stud and are excited about what he might progress into throughout 2025. He will be trained in Newmarket by Marco Botti, who is well known for training nice middle-distance colts such as Excelebration and Giavellotto. Hopefully, this colt can be his next big success.
